Looking for a solution for fixed dental restoration?
The All-on-4 procedure is an option for restoring a full and permanent smile
If you are seeking a solution for fixed restoration of your teeth, this is the implant procedure known as All-on-4. During this procedure, four specialized dental implants are placed to keep the appliance in place and supported. These four implants can anchor a complete arch, either your upper or lower full of teeth. If you’re currently wearing dentures and don’t think it performs well, then consider the All-on-4 option – a solution that has been in place for years with a high success rate.
Even if you were previously denied dental implant procedures because of jawbone loss, your smile can now be restored for a lifetime with this All-on-4 solution. As a matter of fact, it is not only bone loss issues but almost all patients with dentures and patients who have lost the ability to have crown and bridgework for their restorations also can turn to the All-on-4 treatment, as an option for having a full and permanent smile again.

All-on-4 Dental Implants: extraction, placement of implants and artificial teeth — now in only one day
Before All-on-4 implants were developed, getting a dental implant took almost a year of treatment. We would pull the teeth, make a denture, and wait six months for healing, with the wearing of a denture in between, but once healed, we would put on bone grafting, then let that heal (again) before placing implants, waiting another six months to place new crowns on those secured implants.
But with the new All-on-4 procedure, it’s all done — extraction, placement of implants and artificial teeth — now in only one day. Whereas way back when, to replace a denture with a full arch, you would have needed six to ten implants just to support all the teeth and create adequate strength stability. Now it turns out that simply using the laws of physics along with stronger materials, when you place your implants at an angle they increase their strength so therefore can be used fewer number of them.
Two anterior implants upright and two posterior at a 45-degree angle. Because of the special position of these implants, All-on-4 does not involve any bone grafting due to atrophy. By employing only four implants, the procedure also minimizes discomfort. A prototype bridge is placed over the implants, which can be used as normal teeth until your permanent bridge has been fabricated in the dental lab and eventually cemented permanently.
The All on 4 Materials
The system is based on titanium pins due to their biocompatibility and ability to osseointegrate
The All-on-4 immediate implant consists of several components. The implant posts are made from titanium, as it is scientifically proven to be capable of grafting with the human bone.
The fixtures used for implant are constructed to serve as the roots of your own teeth and titanium material allows bone to fuse and attach itself with the post.
An abutment or extension will be added to each of these structures to reach the surface of the gum and finally a restorative bridge is placed on all four extensions.
Book AppointmentAll on Four Aftercare
It's important to strictly follow your dentist's recommendations for caring for implants after the procedure
Studies show that placing implants immediately post extraction, improves the results of treatment. We have had patients that can return to a normal diet in just six weeks after the implants are placed. Your results will be much better the more you follow our after-care instructions.
In the days and weeks after your more invasive appointments, softer foods will keep you in a more comfortable zone. As your healing process progresses, you may slowly integrate harder and more abrasive foods.
After you and we have finished your All-on-4, and after your final healing has occurred, too, maintaining that new set of teeth in addition to the health of your jaw should remain a priority if you want to remain healthy overall.
All on 4 Costs
